Guards Polo Club was founded on 25 January 1955 with HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as the Club’s first President. A role he held for 66 years until his death in April 2021. HM King Charles lll succeeded his father, taking on the Presidency in early 2024.

The polo season starts in April and finishes in mid September, hosting some 600 matches each year.

The Club has been in the forefront of supporting polo for the young.

Throughout the season we host representative matches and tournaments for schools, universities and young players from the Armed Forces. 

There is no better place to enjoy watching polo than within the beautiful surroundings of Windsor Great Park.
